The Australasian Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC) has provided an update on the ongoing review of the JORC Code, including the proposed direction of changes to the draft and the next steps in the review process.

The JORC Code sets the minimum standards for the public reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves and provides a professional framework for reporting mineral exploration and resource information. JORC initiated its review to address issues identified through the application of the Code since its previous revision.

In late August 2026, JORC presented an update on the progress of the review and outlined the direction of proposed changes to the draft Code. The recording of the webinar is now available on the JORC website.
