The first RAMP Joint Transnational Call is now open, offering nearly €40 million to support international research and innovation projects that strengthen sustainable and resilient raw materials systems for the green and digital transition.


The first Joint Transnational Call under the Raw Materials Partnership for the Green and Digital Transition (RAMP) is now open, offering nearly €40 million to support international research and innovation projects across the raw materials value chain. The call aims to strengthen sustainable, resilient and circular raw materials systems essential for the green and digital transition, including technologies such as batteries, renewable energy and advanced manufacturing.

Open to transnational consortia of academia, industry, research organisations and other eligible stakeholders, the call follows a two-stage application process, with pre-proposals due by 22 September 2026. RAMP is expected to mobilise around €350 million for raw materials research and innovation over its lifetime.
