EuroGeoSurveys (EGS) and the Institute of Geological Sciences, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (IGS NASU) have renewed their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a further three years, reaffirming a shared commitment to long-term cooperation in geoscientific knowledge exchange and research.
The agreement builds on an established partnership and provides a framework for continued collaboration in areas including mineral resources, groundwater, geological mapping and modelling, geohazards, geoenergy, geoheritage, and Earth observation. It also supports the ongoing participation of Ukrainian experts in EGS Expert Groups and activities.
The renewed MoU strengthens collaboration within the European geoscience community and supports continued cooperation on shared scientific and societal challenges. We look forward to further developing this partnership in the years ahead.
