The programme provides nine months of individual mentoring for post-Bachelor students and early-career, mid-career and senior geoscientists. Depending on their career stage and goals, participants can receive support with professional networking, job applications, career planning, technical and leadership skills, and gaining insight into employment opportunities in different sectors and countries.
EFGeoMentoring also includes opportunities for experienced EurGeol title holders to become volunteer mentors, while professional coaches can join an internal database offering career-related services to EFG mentees. The programme also aims to improve diversity in leadership, facilitate Continuing Professional Development and provide additional support to geologists seeking employment and new opportunities.
