The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine has approved a new version of the model agreements on subsoil use conditions, aligned with the arrangements between Ukraine and the United States. The document sets out updated obligations for subsoil users and has been brought into line with the Agreement on the Establishment of the American–Ukrainian Reconstruction Investment Fund.
The update forms part of the implementation of the bilateral agreement and is aimed at establishing transparent rules in the field of subsoil use, improving the investment climate, and attracting investment into economic development, particularly in the energy sector, infrastructure, and critical minerals.
