During the working meeting on June 4, 2026, the issue of forming a specific plan - a schedule for each of the main stages of the joint action plan was discussed. First of all, this concerns the part of the joint project on the formation of a list of research proposals on manifestations of critical raw materials.
Promising exploration areas in the Zhytomyr region are currently being assessed with regard to critical minerals, which include titanium (Ti), vanadium (V), rare earth elements (REE), scandium (Sc) and zirconium (Zr), amongst others. This involves collaborative work to characterise deposits in this region, collect new geochemical, isotopic and mineralogical data, and compare them with Canadian mineral systems. A project component concerning the characterisation of apatite in placer-type deposits is also being considered.
There are also plans to collate geological data and assess mineral potential in collaboration with the Canadian side. Collating existing datasets will aid in the interpretation of new findings and provide a basis for modelling mineral potential. Identifying various datasets will enable an assessment of the potential for processing legacy data to produce value-added products. This consolidation will facilitate the assessment of hidden and under-explored regions, as well as increase investor confidence in the underlying datasets.
