The All-Ukrainian Conference “MinGeoIntegration XXI – 2025. From Mineralogy and Geognosy to Geochemistry, Petrology, Geology and Geophysics: fundamental and applied trends of XXI century” (MinGeoIntegration XXI – 2025) was held online on November 12–13, 2025, at the Department of Mineralogy, Geochemistry, and Petrography of the Institute of Geology, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
The conference brought together scientists and practitioners to discuss key topics, including:
- Earth evolution and its geochemical, mineralogical, and petrological aspects;
- Integration of mineralogical-geochemical, lithological-petrographic, and geophysical methods for modeling ore formation processes;
- Modern multidisciplinary studies of mineral resources for quality assessment, extraction optimization, and improved resource management;
- Collection, storage, and interdisciplinary use of physical and chemical geological data;
- Integration of Earth science methods to solve applied problems.
Approximately 30 presentations were delivered at MinGeoIntegration XXI – 2025, covering topics such as the geology of Antarctica and the Ukrainian Carpathians, lithology and sedimentation, petrography and magmatic rocks, mineralogy and geochemistry, mineral resource research, petroleum and gas formation, application of analytical and geophysical methods, and the preservation and digital use of geological information.
Representatives of the Ukrainian Association of Geologists (UAG) actively participated, presenting a report titled: “European geological cooperation for mineral resource management: the experience of the GSEU project”, highlighting the importance of international collaboration and shared scientific approaches in mineral resource management.
Conference abstracts will be published online on the Institute of Geology website
