Ivan Franko National University of Lviv invites researchers, lecturers, postgraduate students, undergraduates and professionals in the field of geology to take part in the 17th All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference “Problems of Geology in Ukraine”, which will take place on 15–16 October 2026 in a mixed format - in person in Lviv and remotely via Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
The conference programme will cover a wide range of topical issues, including general and regional geology, research into the Precambrian and Phanerozoic eras, the stratigraphy of sedimentary basins, issues relating to subsoil use, patterns in the formation of mineral deposits, current trends in palaeontology, and the preservation of Ukraine’s geological heritage.
The working languages of the event are Ukrainian and English.
The conference proceedings will be published in an electronic proceedings volume, which is scheduled to be released before the conference begins.
