The State Commission of Ukraine on Mineral Reserves invites specialists from the geological, mining and oil and gas sectors, academics, representatives of government bodies, the business community and international organisations to take part in the 11th International Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Subsoil Use in Ukraine. Investment Prospects’, to be held on 6–8 October 2026.
The conference will serve as a platform for discussing key issues relating to the development of Ukraine’s mineral resources sector, reform of the subsoil use sector, attracting investment and international cooperation. The programme will cover topics such as critical and strategic minerals, mineral resource management, the geological and economic assessment of deposits, energy independence, the use of groundwater, the environmental aspects of extraction, and the challenges of the green transition.
Registration for participants and the submission of abstracts will remain open until 27 September 2026!
The event continues a series of international conferences which, since 2014, have brought together representatives from the public sector, academia, industry and foreign partners to exchange experiences and discuss the prospects for the development of subsoil use in Ukraine.
