A global conversation about the future of geosciences and sustainable energy


MAGE 2025 (International Meeting for Applied Geoscience & Energy) will take place on 25–28 August 2025 in Houston, USA.

This is the premier international conference in the field of geoscience and energy, co-hosted by AAPG, SEG, and SEPM. The event is expected to bring together more than 7,800 participants from 93 countries, featuring over 1,100 technical presentations and 260 exhibitors.

The program covers key topics including geophysical and geological technologies, regional exploration and production, carbon management, digitalization, geothermal energy, and innovative approaches to energy transition.

Specialized exhibit pavilions will include the Geothermal Hub, Digitalization Pavilion, Carbon Management Pavilion, GEO Pavilion, Near-Surface Pavilion, among others.

A highlight of the event will be the strategic panel “Global Upstream for the 2030s”, focusing on the future of global energy markets.

In addition to the technical sessions, participants can attend short courses, hands-on workshops, the exhibition, and various networking events.
