On June 12–13, 2026, an international conference dedicated to geospatial technologies and the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine will take place in the Lviv region


The International Conference “Synergy in Terra – 2026” will be held on June 12–13, 2026, at the Viking Bay recreation complex (Stare Selo, Lviv region). The event will bring together representatives of academia, business, and government to discuss current challenges in geodesy, geodynamics, geophysics, cartography, GIS, environmental monitoring, land management, precision agriculture, and spatial planning.

This year’s conference will place special emphasis on assessing the consequences of military actions and applying geospatial solutions for Ukraine’s post-war recovery. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss modern approaches to territorial analysis, infrastructure restoration, and effective geospatial data management.

The main thematic areas of the conference include:

  • geodetic measurements and deformation monitoring;
  • Earth surface processes and geodynamics;
  • remote sensing and GIS for environmental monitoring;
  • geospatial data management;
  • digital technologies for precision agriculture;
  • UAV applications in land cover mapping;
  • spatial planning;
  • assessment of war impacts.

The conference will be held in a hybrid format, offering both in-person and online participation. The working languages of the event are Ukrainian and English.
